We teamed up with Waldinger Creative to create a human interest piece to educate and spread heart disease awareness during a difficult time. The half-hour special ran on NBC Channel 4 in the DC Metropolitan area on April 17th. The strategy for the video focused on underserved communities in our nation's capital and its' surroundings, exploring very real challenges and preventions in cardiac care. Dr. Cynthia Crawford-Green is a leader in cardiac care with 41 years of first-hand experience. She has an acute knowledge of the need for comprehensive cardiac care in communities of color and provides direct insights into the advanced difficulties presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. She speaks to hard truths, prevention, and future trends in the field of cardiac care. Her host, Altonia Garrett, Executive Director of the Center for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity with Capital Caring Health, led the interview and asked the right questions. After the panel-style interview, we captured Dr. Crawford-Green and her talented team as they treated patients and went about their day.
After gathering all the footage, we worked quickly to edit all assets together and delivered in time to air on NBC. The final product was powerful, topical, and remained in the brand and style of the client. We take great pride in collaborations like this one when all members work together to create quality work finished on time.
