Philadelphia City Commissioners

Philly Votes

Every Block Every Voice

In collaboration with the Philadelphia Office of City Commissioners, Maven Communications, and Bellevue Communications, we produced a social media campaign for vote.phila.gov for the 2025 November election. The main goal of this campaign was to encourage voter turnout, share important election information, and feature Chairman Omar Sabir, Vice Chair Lisa Deeley, and Commissioner Bluestein as key voices.

This project was a grassroots series with elevated production value. Our role was to refresh static graphics, design motion graphics, and produce video PSAs. We created a branded style so that all posts on the City Commissioners' social media channels (@phillyvotes) had a cohesive look. We interviewed the three city commissioners and produced reels focused on election information, including where to find a satellite election office, what to expect at your polling place, and how to vote by mail. We also covered local Commissioner events to showcase communities gearing up for Election Day. These videos served as a reliable, understandable resource for any eligible voter who interacted with the ad. To guarantee accessibility, a selection of reels were available in English, Spanish, and Mandarin.

Overall, the campaign enhanced the office's online presence and generated high engagement with Meta ads. The campaign launched on October 3rd and concluded on November 4th. During this timeframe, the boosted Meta ads targeted all Philadelphia zip codes. Instagram consistently saw increased interaction throughout the month. By week 4, 5.2 million users were reached, posts generated 19.5 million impressions, and active links received over 16,000 clicks.
