Where Comfort Meets Joy
We produced two videos for the Comfort Inn brand session at the 2025 Choice Hotels convention. Working alongside the Comfort Inn brand marketing team, our goal was to reinforce the brand's relevance in the Upper Mid-Scale market. The creative theme for our videos was drawn from the convention theme, which served as a familiar base to unlock the joy of travel, enhancing guest experiences with joy, wonder, and a sense of belonging. To highlight the joy of Comfort, we developed a creative direction that focused on bright, lively frames and messaging.
The two featured hotel properties were selected based on hotel performance and their commitment to creating a joyful guest experience. The first location was Comfort Inn Saratoga Springs, New York. We interviewed the hotel owners, who were brothers, along with staff members, to walk through the renovation journey, share the post-renovation success story, and explain how the new prototype is improving guest loyalty and experience. This story also touched on the strong ties to generational ownership within the Choice franchise. The second location, Comfort Inn Nachitoches, Louisiana, focused on the pride employees take in providing superior hospitality. We interviewed the owner and front and back of house staff to capture what it takes to "dress for the desk."




For both videos, we wanted to use bright, well-lit frames to convey a sense of joy visually. Clean hotel spaces and simple interview sets supported this look. The brand colors yellow, blue, and orange were consistently included. Both videos also included daytime aerial drone footage. Interviews from both locations evoked a sense of the lighthearted, infectious spirit it takes to create a joyful, hospitality experience.
